I have a problem

Boardgamegeek is the best gaming website around. I always check it out when deciding whether to get a new board game.
Aside from information, ratings, articles, and extras associated with each game, it also offers a bunch of other resources, such as forums, Amazonesque lists, and an inventory feature. I have not been terribly eager to take advantage of the last of these, because I half-suspected that it would totally destroy my mind to discover exactly how many games are currently sitting in my closet.

I was not disappointed.

gettin back on the bloghorse

I have gotten so far from any sort of reasonable update schedule that I'd probably be better off with a blanket apology, rather than having to apologize whenever I forget to do an update for months at a time. So yeah, sorry about that. I'll try to do better, but don't get your hopes up.

One of my more productive distractions of late is 43 things. It's not a very novel idea or design, but it is so energizing to write down all of ones goals and see how attainable they are, and look at them all on one page and be reminded of all the things one can be doing instead of squandering one's time on such as blogs.

er, hm.

well, maybe this space will be used to mention my progress on these goals, to give a boost to whatever impetus that site is providing. (They've even got a fancy javascript deal so I can put it directly into my blog, but that's going a bit far)
Current goals include "exercise 3 times a week," "don't say 'uh'," "play piano," "improve all my languages," "cook better," and "read more"

oh, incidentally, does anyone like this font/size much better than the old tiny Times New Roman? It's the default (though I expect this can be changed in the template), and more legible, but doesn't fit quite as well with the website this is supposed to be part of
