I uh ... what in the hell is Passover Coke? Is it just Coke you bought on Passover, or is there some weird regional variant that I don't know about?
This only seems plausible to me because apparently nobody other than me noticed when strawberry Oreos came and went; I suspect it was a local test-market thing.
...It's a special kosher coke they produce every year. Since corn is apparently one of the grains one can't eat on Passover, it's made with sugar. I don't know how widely available it is (my local grocery store has a pretty large jewish clientele), but if you see any bottles with yellow caps, that's what they are.
Yeah, there were strawberry Oreos for a while. The most interesting thing about them was that the cookie part was noticeably crunchier. I have no idea why this would be.
