Oh let's just pretend I thought of some clever Adam and the Ants lyric to put here

Oh man you guys. Remember that mind-control fungus we heard about/I told you about/you don't actually know about? Luke just showed me a video of it. (warning: insanely creepy. Like, Wrath of Khan ear-eel creepy)

Also those of you who can should see these fancy San Francisco dudes perform in Fullerton on March 3.

Tossed salads and scrambled eggs

Long time no see, gentle readers. I've been doing lots of things.
Christmas was good. New Year's was good too. Afterwards I went up to the mountains with my parents, sister, and niece. There was snow, large trees, and good times. Here are some pictures. Most of you have already heard me talk about these things at length already, so I'll move on.
Upon my return, I went up to Seattle a few days later, where it was also snowing. What the heck, snow.
I got to visit a lot of people, sample the local cuisine, and generally behave foolishly. We went to the science fiction museum, Gas Works, Pike Place Market (closed due to snow, unfortunately)
Archie McPhee's and the Seattle Public Library (slideshow does not do it justice)

We also rented City Hunter (a ridiculous Jackie Chan movie that I will probably inflict on some of you at some point), and enjoyed a fantastic game of telephone pictionary. And I got the chance to visit Aaron from Pomona and amused myself by trying to scare the hiccups out of him all night. I got him about six times before he started to wise up.
Also I drove more than I ever hope to again. You might not think Camus makes for good road trip listening, but that just shows what you know. There are some dang scary birds living along the 5, by the way. (Birds are scarier than they appear in this picture)

Oh, and my submission for the kitty philosophy book was accepted. Yay kitty book.
