Et tibi pater
Oh I remembered the other thing I did: I went to a baseball game! The Padres were playing the Diamondbacks. They lost, naturally, but it was a pretty exciting game, and since we were using Jason's boss's season tickets, we were in like row 20, from which the players actually look like people. This was the first--and, no doubt, last--time I will ever be that close. A foul ball almost fell on us, even. (This is a better experience than you might expect).

I'm always really sheepishly endeared by Not Baseball People who enjoy baseball games. The Padres haven't been good for a while, but that just means you have to find some way to watch the White Sox.
Oh yeah, I was actually just on the porch having a smoke and wondering if you, Evan, knew anything about flowering succulents like kalanchoe. I'm getting into these plants. You know where to find me.
Not a whole lot off the top of my head, except insofar as succulents in general are kind of big around here, given the whole "no water" situation. I'll see what memories I can stir up about them.
